Did you know the following things can be recycled? Take your old EYE GLASSES to your local Lions Club or eye doctor. TEXT BOOKS, PHONE BOOKS, PAPERBACKS and HARDCOVERS can go with your regular paper recycling. Return PLASTIC GROCERY BAGS to your local supermarket's collection containers, or reuse them yourself Take your COMPUTER, ELECTRONICS, TELEVISIONS and RADIOS to the Bergen County Utilities Authority, see above for details. Take USED MOTOR OIL, AUTO BATTERIES, ANTI-FREEZE and TRANSMISSION FLUID to Bergen County household hazardous waste collection events, see above for details. Give LEFTOVER PAINT to art groups or housing organizations. Donate your unwanted CLOTHING and USED FURNITURE to charity groups or have a garage sale. AND REMEMBER...REDUCE, REUSE, AND THEN RECYCLE!
