The
Maywood Planning Board is a combined board with both planning and zoning
authority, acting in accordance with New Jersey statutes. The Maywood
Planning Board is Empowered under under the New
Jersey Municipal Land Use Law. The Board's duties include preparation
of the Borough Master Plan, reviewing applications for subdivision, site
plan, use variance, bulk variance, ordinance interpretation, and appeal
of administrative decision based upon enforcement of zoning ordinances.
Application
Procedures All applications must be deemed "complete"
prior to scheduling the hearing date. Any revised site plans
must be submitted to the Planning Board no less than 15 days before the
desired hearing date. Any revised variance plans must be filed no less
than 10 days before the desired hearing date.
Master
Plan The new Borough Master Plan was completed on May 27th, 2003.
Copies are available for review, for an applicable fee, at the Planning
Board office at 15 Park Ave.
